Chelsie has always been interested in sports and physical activity which led her to the University of Calgary where she obtained a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology. From there Chelsie received her national personal training certificate and worked in the fitness industry for five years. With experience as both a personal trainer and crossfit coach she felt that something was lacking. Yoga seemed to be the missing piece to a complete and balance training program.
Chelsie started practicing yoga in 2014 and received her 200h teacher training in 2016 from the Bodhi Tree in Calgary. Yoga allowed Chelsie to round out her skills and gave her a much more holistic and balanced approach when working with clients. “Yoga has taught me to listen to my body and put my ego aside. It has enabled me to look at fitness on a whole new scale, focusing on how the body feels and creating a much more realistic and healthy view of the human body.”
